I'm Tonye Cathcart-Hannah
I am a full time artist painting in either watercolor, oil, or acrylic. "Originally, I wanted to be a biological illustrator." My career choices provided me with the opportunity to combine my science, mathematics and drawing talents to fulfill my dream as an artist.
While pursuing a professional career, being a housewife and mom to two beautiful and successful, now adult entrepreneurs, I was active in the community. Before becoming a full time artist, I was principal interior designer at "the Interior Solution, Llc," Atlanta, Georgia.
I was featured in "Living Space" magazine as the designer of the month, August, 2004. Also, you will find me in the May, 2005 edition, "Better Homes and Garden" with my glass and ceramic artist, son.
During my travels to several parts of the United States and International Countries, I pursued my interest in botanicals and landscapes. Most of my catalogue will feature these categories.
I am a graduate of HBCU, Bennett College, B.S, Biology and Chemistry, Greensboro, North Carolina; Cleveland State University, M.ED, Cleveland, Ohio; and, Graduate, The Hubert H.
